Ben Best ist tot: Star Schauspieler und Autor von Eastbound & Down mit 46 Jahren gestorben

Der Hollywood-Schauspieler und Mitgestalter der HBO-Serie „Eastbound & Down“ ist im Alter von 46 Jahren gestorben.

Die Nachricht von seinem Tod wurde von der Firma Rough House Pictures, der Produktionsfirma von Eastbound & Down, bestätigt.

Die Ursache für seinen Tod wurde noch nicht bekannt gegeben.

„Schweren Herzens verabschieden wir uns von unserem guten Kumpel Ben Best. Wir haben ihn einen Tag, bevor er 47 Jahre alt geworden wäre, verloren“, schrieb Rough House Pictures in einer Bildunterschrift. „Ein großartiger Freund und eine kreative Kraft. Er inspirierte uns und brachte uns zum Lachen. Charmant und urkomisch. Viel zu früh von uns gegangen. Wir lieben und vermissen dich“, heißt es in dem Post des Unternehmens auf Instagram.

Er hat auch die Komödie „Your Highness“ (2011) mit James Franco und Natalie Portman in den Hauptrollen geschrieben.

Best spielte die Rolle des Clegg in „Eastbound“ und trat in Filmen wie „Superbad“, „What Happens in Vegas“, „Observe and Report“ und „Land of the Lost“ auf.
