Traurige Nachrichten – tragischer Trauerfall bei den Auswanderern aus der beliebten Vox-Sendung „Goodbye Deutschland“.
Erst im Juni 2020 erfüllte sich ihr größter Wunsch und sie sagte „Ja“ zu ihrer großen Liebe. „Goodbye Deutschland“-Star Lara Sanders (52) und ihr Mann Samuel Mekonnen schwebten nach ihrer Traumhochzeit in den USA auf Wolke sieben. Doch ihr Glück wurde jäh getrübt, die Filmproduzentin und Buchautorin muss jetzt ganz stark sein.
Auf Instagram teilte Lara in ihrer Story am Montag (10. Mai) ihren tragischen Verlust mit: Ihre geliebte Mutter Lissy Bonfig (†82) verstarb völlig überraschend. Der Tod kam völlig überraschend, denn nur amTag zuvor hatte sie noch mit ihr gesprochen und alles schien in Ordnung: „Wir haben gestern zum Muttertag mit dem iPad telefoniert“, erzählt Lara „Bunte“ am Telefon. Nicht ganz einfach, da die ältere Dame an Demenz litt. Lauta Lara Sanders waren Video-Anrufe ihr sonst oft zu kompliziert. „Ich habe ihr gesagt, dass sie eine tolle Mutter ist. Mein letzter Satz war: ‚Ich liebe dich'“, erinnert sich die Produzentin an das Gespräch gegenüber der „Bunte“.

„Mitten in der Nacht sei sie dann aufgewacht und habe nicht mehr schlafen können. Wie sie wenig später von ihrem Vater, Peter Bonfig (89), am Telefon erfuhr, war das etwa zu der Zeit, als ihre Mutter starb, gegen 12 Uhr mittags deutscher Zeit“, berichtet die „Bunte“.

Auf Instagram schreibt: „Ich liebe dich so sehr, meine geliebte Mama. Ich kann es nicht glauben, dass du von uns gegangen bist. Ich habe in der vergangenen Nacht deine Präsenz gespürt, als du verstorben bist. Ich bin mitten in der Nacht plötzlich aufgewacht und aufgestanden.“
