Die Ärzte gaben uns vor einer ganzen Weile diese Prognose, aber ihre Empfehlung (Abtreibung) kam für uns nie in Frage. Sammy ist unser Sohn. Außerdem ist für unseren Gott nichts unmöglich.
Nach ungefähr 6 Stunden in dieser Welt hat er uns gegen 9 Uhr nachts verlassen. Wir wissen, dass er jetzt bei Jesus ist und keine Schmerzen oder Probleme mehr hat.
Sammy hat uns beigebracht, anders zu lieben, als ich es mir hätte vorstellen können. Wir wissen nicht genau, warum wir das Wunder, mit dem wir bis zum Ende gerechnet hatten, nicht sehen konnten, aber es ist uns absolut klar, dass Krankheit und Leiden nicht Gottes Wille sind und es nie waren. Es war nicht Gott, der diese Krankheit auf Sammy „gelegt“ oder Sammy von uns genommen hat.
Wir vermissen unseren Sohn sehr und sind gebrochenen Herzens – gleichzeitig durften wir in dieser Zeit den Frieden Gottes erleben, der allen Verstand übersteigt.
Wir sind dankbar für jeden Herzschlag, jede Bewegung, jeden Atemzug und jeden Blick, den wir erleben durften. Danke an alle, die uns unterstützt haben und für uns beten.
