Seit ihrer frühesten Kindheit stehen die Sprösslinge der Geissens im Licht der Öffentlichkeit. In der Reality-Show: „Die Geissens – Eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie“ die zum 3. Januar 2011 das erste Mal ausgestrahlt wurde und von der inzwischen elf Staffeln gedreht wurden, steht die Familie im Mittelpunkt des Öffentlichen Interesses. Die Tochter (16) Shania Tyra Geiss steht also schon im Mittelpunkt seit sie ein Vorschulkind ist. Was der Schritt zu bedeuten hat, verrät das Teenie-Töchterchen ihren Fans nicht. „Möglicherweise hat der Teenager genug vom Leben im Glashaus. Erst kürzlich machte Mama Carmen publik, wie viel Neid und Hass der Familie seit dem Beginn ihrer Fernseh-Show „Die Geissens – eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie“ im Netz entgegenschlägt, berichtet „Tag 24“.
„Die Drohungen reichen bis dahin, meine Töchter entführen, vergewaltigen und töten zu wollen. Und mich gleich mit“, offenbarte die Millionärsgattin dem Magazin „Bunte“.

Die Drohungen seien so heftig gewesen, dass sich ihre Töchter Davina (18) und Shania (16) zeitweise nicht mehr vor die Tür trauten.
Ihr Instagram-Konto stellte Shania nun auf „privat“ um, also nur noch sichtbar für gute Freunde. Die Fans sind gespannt, wie lange ihre Auszeit dauern wird. Bislang hat sich noch keiner aus der Jet-Set-Familie zu dem überraschenden Schritt geäußert.
