„Two and a Half men“ ist bis heute einer der meist gesehenen Serien weltweit. Immer wieder stellen sich Fans die Frage: Was wurde aus dem Serien-Charakter „Jake Harper“ aka. Angus T. Jones?
Angus T. Jones war bis 2014 fester Bestandteil der Serie „Two and a Half men“. Mittlerweile hat der Kinderstar sich aus dem Showbuisness zurückgezogen und ist nicht mehr als Schauspieler tätig. Nach dem Serienaus 2015 widmete er sich seinem Studium und gründete sein eigenes Unternehmen namens „Tonite“.
Die Produktionsfirma baute er zusammen mit Justin Combs auf. Zu dem engagierte sich der Ex-Schauspieler für zahlreiche gemeinnützige Projekte gegen Kindesmissbrauch und Mobbing.
Eine Kindheit am Film-Set
Angus T. Jones war 10 Jahre lang als Jake Harper Teil der US-Sitcom „Two and a half men“. 2003 bis 2013 stand Jones als Serien-Neffe von Charlie Sheen vor der Kamera.
Mit gerade einmal 17 Jahren war er einer der bestverdienenden Kinderdarsteller im US-Fernsehen. Knapp 300.000 US-Dollar Gage soll er damals pro Folge verdient haben.
2012 ließ Jones die Bombe platzen. Auf dem YouTube-Kanal Forerunner Chronicles bezeichnete der Schauspieler die Sitcom „Two and a half men“ als „Dreck“. Er entschuldigte sich zwar am nächsten Tag, nahm jedoch auch diese Entschuldigung wenig später wieder zurück.
