Phil Jerrod ist tot: Comedian und „Mock the Week“-Autor im Alter von 42 Jahren gestorben
Phil Jerrod, der Komiker und TV-Autor von Sendungen wie Mock the Week und The Now Show, ist im Alter von 42 Jahren an Krebs gestorben.
Die Nachricht von seinem Tod wurde von seiner Agentur Off the Kerb bekannt gegeben. Der beliebte Stand-up-Komiker verstarb am Samstag im Arm seiner Frau Beck.
Es ist nicht bekannt, wie lange Phil schon an einem Sarkom litt, einer seltenen Form von Krebs, die Knochen und Weichgewebe befällt.

Comedy-Star Phil Jerrod gestorben – Trauer um ein großes Talent
Nish Kumar zollte heute seinem Komiker-Kollegen Tribut und twitterte: „Das ist eine schreckliche Nachricht. Ein großartiger Komiker und ein liebenswerter Mensch“.
Der in Brighton lebende Star unterstützte Romesh Ranganathan auf seiner Großbritannien-Tournee im Jahr 2016 und schrieb für die Radio- und Fernsehsendungen The Now Show, The News Quiz und Mock The Week.
Heute beschrieb Ranganathan ihn als „brillanten Komiker“ und „einen der nettesten und liebenswertesten Männer, die man je treffen kann“.

Er war ein brillanter Komiker, aber vor allem einer der nettesten und liebenswertesten Menschen, die man je treffen konnte. Man fühlte sich immer besser, wenn man Zeit mit ihm verbracht hatte. Ich werde ihn so sehr vermissen.
Es ist die zweite Tragödie in der Welt der Comedy, nachdem der Star von Eight Out Of Ten Cats, Sean Lock, letzten Monat im Alter von 58 Jahren an Krebs gestorben ist.
